Firstly, both the Chair and the Knowledge Centre are made possible by contributions from the Cultuurfonds. In addition, the chair is funded by VriendenLoterij and VandenEnde Foundation. Voordekunst also joined as a knowledge partner of the Knowledge Centre

Stichting Geef om Cultuur (founded in 2011) aims to facilitate mediation, knowledge development and knowledge transfer in the field of arts and culture in the broadest possible sense. This foundation aims to achieve its goal by developing innovative forms of patronage, promoting qualitative research, contributing to public opinion formation and disseminating knowledge and expertise on patronage. Important to the foundation’s mission is the creation of a Knowledge Centre or Platform on Patronage, in which all relevant aspects are developed in coherence and made directly available to the cultural and scientific field.
