dr. Sander Bax
Dr Sander Bax works as an associate professor of Literary Studies, Cultural History and Dutch Teaching Methodology at Tilburg University. His work is directly related to the school subject of Dutch. He lectures on teaching methodology at the Tilburg University Teacher Training Programme in Dutch and lectures on cultural and literary history, literary analysis, popular culture, authorship and media in the Bachelor’s programme in Online Culture and in the Master’s programme in Art, Media and Society. His research focuses on the relationship between (Dutch) literature, politics and media (at the beginning of the 21st century), and on authorship and literary history (of the 20th century). In 2015, he published De Mulisch Mythe. Harry Mulisch: schrijver, intellectueel, icoon (Amsterdam: Meulenhoff) and edited the book Interrupting the city with Pascal Gielen and Bram Ieven.
